Dr. Pozo received his B.S. in Biology from Eastern Connecticut State University, followed by a M.A. in Biomolecular Sciences from Central Connecticut State University. Dr. Pozo went on to complete his Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently, Dr. Pozo is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Jacqueline Lees in the Koch Institute at MIT. His research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of response and resistance to anticancer therapies in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
